2. Facebook Platform Data

Strevio integrates with Meta’s Facebook platform to provide social media management and analytics features. This section details how we handle Facebook data.

2.1 Data We Access

Account Authentication

When you log in with Facebook or connect your Facebook account, we access:

  • Email address associated with your Facebook account
  • Basic profile information (name, profile picture)

Page Management

To enable page management features, we access:

  • List of Facebook Pages you manage or administer
  • Page profile information (name, category, profile picture)

Content & Analytics

When you connect a Facebook Page for analytics, we access:

  • Posts, photos, and videos published on your Page
  • Post performance data (reach, impressions, clicks)
  • Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, reactions)
  • Page Insights (audience demographics, page views, follower growth)
  • Comment content and commenter information (public data only)

Business Accounts

If you use Facebook Business Manager, we may access:

  • Business account information
  • Pages associated with your Business Manager

Publishing Permissions

With your explicit authorization, Strevio can:

  • Create, edit, and schedule posts on your connected Facebook Pages
  • Manage and respond to comments on your Page posts

2.2 How We Use Facebook Data

We do NOT use your Facebook data for:

  • Selling to third parties
  • Advertising or ad targeting
  • Building user profiles for external purposes
  • Any purpose unrelated to providing Strevio’s services

2.3 Facebook Data Storage & Retention

  • Facebook data is stored on secure servers protected by industry-standard encryption
  • Data is retained while your Strevio account is active and your Facebook account remains connected
  • Historical analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to provide trend analysis
  • Upon disconnection or account deletion, Facebook data is permanently deleted within 30 days

2.4 Facebook Data Sharing

Facebook data accessed through Strevio is:

  • Not sold to any third party
  • Not shared with advertisers or data brokers
  • Only processed by essential service providers (hosting, infrastructure) under strict data processing agreements

Aggregated, de-identified statistics may be used for product improvement and benchmarking, but never in a way that identifies individual users or Pages.

2.5 Your Control Over Facebook Data

Disconnect from Strevio: You can disconnect your Facebook account at any time from your Strevio account settings. This immediately revokes our access to new data.

Remove via Facebook: Visit Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find Strevio → Remove App. This revokes all permissions granted to Strevio.

Request Deletion: Email info@strevio.com with subject “Facebook Data Deletion” to request removal of all stored Facebook data. We process requests within 30 days.

Data Portability: You may request an export of your Facebook data stored in Strevio by contacting info@strevio.com.

2.6 Facebook Data Deletion Callback

Strevio supports Facebook’s data deletion callback. When you remove Strevio from your Facebook Apps, we automatically receive a deletion request and remove your Facebook data. You can check your deletion request status at: https://app.strevio.com/facebook/data-deletion-status

2.7 Meta Platform Compliance

Our use of Facebook data complies with:

  • Meta Platform Terms
  • Meta Developer Policies
  • Meta Data Use Policy

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send administrative information (updates, security alerts)
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Analyze usage to improve our Service
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.


6. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your data at any time by:

  1. Emailing info@strevio.com with subject “Data Deletion Request”
  2. Including your registered email address
  3. Specifying what data you want deleted (all data, or specific categories)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

For Facebook-registered users: You may also remove Strevio from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites to automatically trigger data deletion.


7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR):

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data
