Part 4 of Facebook $50K Challenge: December > November

by on

Challenge

Hello,

I hope you’re all doing great. Today was my first day back at work after the holidays, and I’m excited to share some updates and tips with you.

Business that never sleeps

The great thing about our business is that even when everyone in the company had 10 days off at the end of the year, the business continued to run.

I see this as the biggest advantage, along with the usual part where the business is running and making money while everyone is sleeping.

However, as you know, this is far from just a passive income scheme.

Planning for the year

Today, I had a meeting with my team to brainstorm ideas and plans for the upcoming year. You know that feeling of overwhelming enthusiasm for your business, even after many years? It’s that sense of a bright and clear future ahead.

This feeling isn’t born from delusion; I’m fully aware of the numerous challenges facing our company and the industry. Yet, the ideas and plans we have are far more compelling and significant. That’s the feeling that’s been with me the entire day.

Back to the challenge:

December was a really good month, and from a revenue perspective, it was even better than November.

I made $18,823 on Mediavine just from Facebook traffic.

I spent $1,328 on Facebook page like campaigns for my first Facebook page and $206 on the second one.

The P&L for this project hasn’t yet been completed for last month, and I don’t have a number for content investment, but I believe it’s around $3K.

Overall, the profit on this challenge in December was $14-15K.

Not bad for a project started 9 months ago.

Tips for Facebook Success:

1.If you’re just starting with Facebook, you should read this post I wrote:

How to Grow Your Facebook Traffic to Your Website – Ultimate Guide

Here, you can find all the information you need to succeed on Facebook.

2. In my last tweet, I explained why it’s necessary that you’re involved in the process of running your Facebook pages and test everything.

If you’re successful with search, Pinterest, or any other type of traffic, there’s no reason why you can’t crack this game too.

But, you will need to spend hundreds of hours on it.

3. Don’t worry too much about the price per like, if it’s under $0.1. The ROI in this game is so unbelievably great that it doesn’t make a huge difference in the end if you’re paying more per like.

Of course, it’s much better to have a lower price, but it’s not the most important factor.

4. These kinds of posts are now working really well on Facebook.

Interesting photo, with a title and link in the description.

And the same setup just with the link in the comment.

5. The best tip to increase traffic and engagement is to republish your best-performing content on Facebook, not just from last month, but from months before. That type of content worked really well in the past. The easiest and most efficient way to find it is using Strevio.

6. If you’re new and most of your content isn’t doing well, you should make radical improvements and test more things. Don’t repeat the same things over and over again if they’re not working.

If you’re not using Strevio Intelligence and don’t check what was working for your competitors not just right now, but in the last 12 months, you’re probably losing an opportunity to double your traffic and revenue.

7. The start of the new year isn’t good just for new resolutions, but because Facebook ads are at least 2x cheaper than the average price throughout the year. Use this opportunity and time to start and scale your Facebook page.

Today, my sister had her first child. I’m so happy.

Also, today’s my mom’s birthday.

Mom, happy birthday.

I think this is the best email I’ve ever written.

Here’s everything you need to know to crush it.

Make the most of it.
